Anticipating a fairly weak yearling market at Doncaster Sales last autumn we intentionally pitched our sights very high but we never dreamed of managing to purchase this superb looking colt.
By the top quality sire Invincible Spirit, whose covering fee alone is 50,000 euros. Invincible Spirit produced his first crop of racehorses in 2006 and was Champion European First Crop Sire. In his first two years he produced no less than 12 Stakes winners of which 6 were Group winners.
Since then Invincible Spirit has not looked back and in July 2009 his Fleeting Spirit put in a superb performance to win at the highest level, the Darley July Cup (Group 1) at Newmarket, beating runners from around the world.
This colts dam has already produced four winners from five runners. These include Manston who won the Listed class Doncaster Stakes at Doncaster. He was officially rated 106.
An attractive and good sized colt he has everything going for him and he looks a very exciting prospect for 2010.
He is entered for the £300,000 St Leger Yearling Stakes in 2010. In the inaugral running of this race his trainer, Bryan Smart, produced the 1st and 3rd home.
