Under a finely judged ride by Greg Fairley Snow Bay gained the second win of his career at Catterick on the 8th July. After breaking well he led until close home when through greenness he idled and was passed by the favourite... he then battled back and got in front on the line. In what transpired to be the fastest race of the day he set a cracking pace despite carrying top weight.

 

Snow Bay is a lovely genuine horse with a superb temperament and from the look of his race today there should be more to come from him. Still an unexposed horse, he was still quite green when in front and this race should have taught him a lot.
