Snow Bay wins fifth race - 17 April 2010
Snow Bay made it a brilliant five wins from sixteen runs when landing the quite valuable and competitive Constant Security Handicap (Class 3) at Thirsk on the 17th April.Despite running in the hardest race of his career the result looked on the cards by the halfway point of the race as he was always looking to be travelling strongly.
Greg Fairley, who has now ridden him for three of his wins, gave him a superb ride. Tom Eaves & Philip Makin have ridden him to his other wins.
Prior to this run he had been gelded as Snow Bays' one weakness was his inability to concentrate in his races. Today he seemed much more relaxed in the preliminaries and no doubt that helped.
He has already given his owners some thrilling days racing and they look to have an exciting 2010 turf season ahead as there could be some big races coming up.
