A superb performance from Boundless Spirit this evening saw him win his maiden in very good fashion.

 

Doing it the hard way, particularly for an inexperienced two year old, he led from start to finish. Paul Mulrennan took the ride and his comments after the race were ' you have a nice horse here. There is plenty more to come!'. He idled a bit in the latter part of the race, just through having been in front so long, but once Paul asked him to quicken the result was never in doubt and he won by close to two lenghts without being fully extended.

 

Boundless Spirit had made his debut in what looked, and has been proven since, to be a hot Novice event. It was odds on that day that he would need the experience, both mentally and physically, and that proved to be the case when he finished a pleasing 5th.

 

An exciting horse for his owners to own this season as there could be some exciting races to come!
